Black & White
My early years in photography began with black-and-white film. Initially, I was inspired by the work of Edward Weston and Ansel Adams. Weston’s photographs of green peppers in color would not have been worth a second look. And Adams’ photographs of western landscapes were dramatic with incredible texture. Now with digital capture and the availability of post-processing color to black-and-white I feel as if I am in some way returning to my roots. Please enjoy these photographs which I believe are best presented in black-and-white with shades of grey.
